Terms of Service

Effective Date: 2026-04-17 · Last Updated: 2026-06-02

These Terms of Service govern your use of Recurrly. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Recurrly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Recurrly is a personal subscription tracking and management application. You add recurring subscriptions manually. The app provides:

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Recurrly. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Gmail Integration — currently disabled

Status as of v1.2.1: Gmail integration is not available in this release. The feature is paused while Google's OAuth verification process is in progress and will return in a future release. The terms below apply once it returns.

When re-enabled, Gmail integration will be optional. If you choose to connect Gmail, Recurrly will request read-only access limited to billing and receipt emails. We will not read, store, or process personal emails. You will be able to disconnect Gmail access at any time from Settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, reverse-engineer the app, or use the service for any unlawful purpose. You may only use Recurrly for personal, non-commercial subscription tracking.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of Recurrly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect and process data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Recurrly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Financial data shown in the app is based on information you provide and should not be used as a substitute for professional financial advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recurrly and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed subscription renewals or inaccurate spending data.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Recurrly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using Recurrly and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Subscriptions & Payments

Recurrly offers an optional Premium upgrade. Premium is available as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. All payments are processed by Google Play and charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel anytime in your Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. The Lifetime option is a single one-time payment with no recurring charge. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before you purchase. Except where required by law or by Google Play policy, payments are non-refundable. The specific features included with Premium are described in the app and may change over time.
